Truth Is...

Truth is I was young, a little dumb, and definitely naive.
Truth is I fell for a troubled man.
Truth is I was lost between love &lust.
Truth is I cared for someone who still lived their ex.
Truth is I learned to strongly dislike her because of how she treated him.
Truth is I wore my heart on my sleeve.
Truth is I did many vengeful things.
Truth is I grew up and opened my eyes.
Truth is I saw him for him and eventually her side as well.
Truth is I opened my soul & mind as well.
Truth is I worked hard to correct many thing within myself.
Truth is I still care for him....we went through so much, truly thick & thin.
Truth is she's still stuck on hurt.
Truth is all I can do is continue to better myself...and watch.
